Gary Nichols grew up in Valdosta, GA. He built two very successful businesses. He retired from his Atlanta cooperation, Cortech International in 2011. His doctor told him he needed another passion other than his grand girlies, family, golf, and bird hunting. He told his doctor that he could draw, but not paint. He continues taking oil lessons and loves spending time in his studio. Still a novice, but giving it 100%. Many of his works are done using painting knives and paper towels.
